    Hey All,

So draining from the two hoses per the WSM, I only got about 2.5 gallons out of the system. Totally fine in my opinion if you’re doing it every year, as you should. However, Im trying to do a complete flush so Im adding 2.5 gallons distilled water, draining, and doing that a couple more times. Then I’ll add 2 gallons concentrate and call it good. Between each drain / after adding 2.5 gallons distilled water, Im running the engine to full temp with cabin heater on blast.

It’s easy. Just make sure to let the coolant cool before draining again, after running the engine and heater!!

I found wrapping a towel around the hose I’m pulling off of the water pump will stop it from squirting up and making a mess. You’ll get some on your floor inevitably.

For the final top off of new coolant, I let it run 20 minutes afterwards to ensure it mixed well so my block doesn’t crack when it freezes! I’m guessing on 20 min so if anyone knows better, lmk.

I always find it easier to use a 50/50 mix. If I have concentrate, then I just mix it with distilled water in a large bucket and use a vacuum fill.
