Absolutely. Good day at work? Make it even better on the drive home. Bad day at work? The drive home will put a smile on your face...

I spotted a Grigio Ingrid GTO today at a Ferrari SF event. I didn't get any good pics because the car was up on a rack, but it definitely had been well enjoyed based on the condition of the underside.

Indeed, especially the Sabbia leather interior, and I think you'll find that this is the 599 GTO owned by Tamara Ecclestone, ex-Formula One boss Bernie Ecclstone's daughter, lovely livery, I'd have to say she has good taste. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Universal Autosports supposedly has a 599 GTO lined up for a manual conversion Kind of sacrilege...but also super cool. I just hope that it's not a low mileage creampuff. A driver or storied car is the perfect candidate!
Perhaps it's someone who wants to drive a 599 GTO slowly, a manual defeats the whole point of the setup from the factory - explosive speed up & down the gearbox resulting in dynamic performance, the whole reason Ferrari made this car. The epic downshifts of the 599XX’s F1 six-speed gearbox with the same 60-millisecond shift times is reason alone to not mess with greatness! The awesomeness (is that a word?) of this 'box has to be experienced to be believed. A manual 'box would take it's performance back into the past and make the car quite slow compared to other 599 GTOs. IMHO of course.

You are correct of course, I looked this up and learned something new to me! I'm not sure what the relevant chassis numbers are but this 599 GTO was special-ordered by Sir Anthony Bamford and it sports the famed Maranello Concessionaires racing livery of his 250 GTO shown below. Joe It is Lord Anthony Bamford, not Sir Anthony Bamford. Pretty important detail for the Brits. Marcel Massini
