Ferrari 60 years: trip to Maranello !

I was wondering how many of you have plans to drive to Maranello in Italy by the end of june to celebrate Ferrari's 60th anniversary.

Personally, I live in Belgium and plan to drive 1200kms with my Mondial to Maranello, arriving on June 21st. Therefor, the Mondial will get a severe check-up by our local garage to avoid breakdown after 500kms. Looking also on the internet for the best hotels around town. Maybe it's possible to drive in colonne if there are some other owners/entusiasts in Belgium/Netherlands/Luxembourg/...

It would be nice from you all to learn what your plans are and preparations for the trip, no matter where you're from.

 

Apparently from what we may expect, the 60th ann. event will be a mass event like the one for 50 years in 1997. In that year, hundreds of owners drove to Maranello which lead to the biggest display of Ferrari cars ever.
