Ferrari 612 Speedometer Light won‘t turn off

    Hi,
    I have a problem with my 612.

    Since yesterday evening, the speedometer lighting won't turn off... I disconnected the battery, reconnected it, but there was no improvement. I removed and disconnected the light switch, but there was no improvement.

    When I turn on the ignition, it goes out briefly and then immediately comes back on.



    The only thing I did a week ago was replace the W5W parking light bulb with an LED and connect a resistor between them so that no error message appears on the display, which works.


    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Everything else works fine.

    Get rid of the LED and resistor and see if it goes away? If the problem wasn't there before you fiddled with it, then you fiddled with it and then appeared a problem, you can bet your fiddling caused the problem.

    After the installation I had no Problems, the problem only appeared a few days later
