    That is why I never,ever leave my key with the valet. I pay the valet handsomely to allow me to park it where I want and lock it up.
    About 15 years ago a restaurant valet parking lot was cleaned out by a gang who drove off in dozens of high end cars whose keys were accessed by simply brandishing a gun at the valet who was more than happy at that point to hand the keys over
