First RHD 812C spotted! Image Unavailable, Please Login Picture taken by Andreas Birner. Hard to tell the final color and livery, camouflage wrap is still present.
Only wish it was, its wheelbase would be nearly a foot shorter and car lighter, plus it would have a back window!
Striping adds a lot to the car IMHO..... very racy. To me, doing a sublte almost classy spec does not suit the car... Again, my honest opinion after having seen/being in the car multiple times.

Specced mine at Casa Ferrari Gas Station at Pebble Beach a couple of months ago. I was told yesterday they won’t start production on the Aperta until the 3rd quarter of 22. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I remember reading there that the 812C couldn’t be ordered with hand painted shields as the body panels are all embossed to receive the enamel shields. From this pic found on IG it seems not all the body panels are made this way! Hopefully it will be possible to get hand painted shields (or no shields) on the front fenders. painted shields are still under development and orders with them are submitted with a special note until it’s confirmation.
It seems the area for the shield might not be large enough to accommodate the usual painted shield. I note on the J50 they had painted shields in a smaller size that better fits that car’s panels. I wonder if they could do the same here or even a different size? Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
At the Atelier they said painted shields will not become an option due to the carbon blade on the hood.

I’m guessing that a larger proportion of the 812C and 812CA will be Tailor Made than all the previous models ( apart from the Monza)… just a reasonable guess but I think there are going to be a lot of v uniquely specced “extravagant” liveries - hope so !! Can’t wait to see them all !! Hopefully different colored carbon on the vortex generators for the coupes and I’d love to see different coloured carbon on the targa roof and the aero blade etc …. Combinations of different vertical and horizontal stripes would be great to see too with Dreamlines /tricolore fades … Having been treated to the Various SF/GTS and TDF Tailor Mades , I think we will have a lot of v uniquely looking cars . I’m looking forward to seeing The Good, The Bad and The Ugly designs - all good fun and all worthy of discussions over a Merlot /macallan …
If I got one, I’d be doing tailor made. I’d imagine there will be the swath of people who get every special/icona car who just spec it at the dealer. I do agree though, there probably will be more tailor made 812C’s and CA’s. The program seems very interesting, and I kind of want to do it for my next car I order.
My Tailor Made appointment is set for the week of Finali Mondiali at the factory. Looking forward to seeing all of the creative ideas between now and then!
