I’ve seen as lot of photographs where I don’t like the Aperta treatment at all but it suddenly looks pretty good in that video.

Imho Much better with a Gloss carbon roof - I helped my Brother -in-law specc his TM Aperta and the CF gloss roof makes the roof ‘hoops’ better … imho , the Aperta is even more colour sensitive to the eye than the Coupe.

Got my TM appointment yesterday. Fantastic experience as usual.
Boomerang on the bonnet can definitely be in tinted carbon but painting it in body color is not an option as it is obviously considered as a signature for the car.

Not specced mine till now, but the dealer told me some interior parts of the dashboard has to be kept in black Alcantara and can’t be specced in a different color.

    Has anyone more insights?

the basic rule is always the same. for the areas subjected to approval (i.e. crash test etc) automotive leather and/or automotive alcantara are mandatory
Ferrari has a large selection in different colors
those area are normally the upper dashboard, upper part of door panels and central part of steering wheel. It means shortly all the areas where airbags are
it can vary from model to model

then if you make a standard configuration of course there are some limits to differenziate the material in a specifica area cause you have to follow the guidelines of Centro Stile Ferrari….essentially you have to follow the Ferrari configurator but your dealer can open a “ticket” in the system and ask for a special Customer request, in Italy called “richiesta speciale” code SPEC

to overcome these limits you can go to Atelier or even better to Tailor Made and pratically there are “no limits” to choose and mix different material except the above mentioned regulations, technical feasibility and approval of Centro Stile, today more present!!

Thank you very much! Did two Atelier cars in the past but never a TM because I wasn’t patient enough for the long wait ;-)

Considering an Atelier spec for the Competizione but the dealer tries since November to get an appointment with no date till today. A TM appointment would delay the delivery massively and I guess it would be a mid to end 2023 delivery, what is too long for me.

Upper dash not in any colour due to the refelctions from the sun is what I was always told; even in Atelier for Competizione.
Hope you can get an Atelier appointment; made a huge difference for my spec.

Agreed, really does not work at all. Surely something like Marrone met would look a bit better, similar colour but less bright. Guess the beauty of this is we can all have different tastes!
