What you call "rear quarter sawed off" is part of Ferrari's legacy, as it can be found in several racing models such as the 250 Le Mans (1963), 365 P (1965), 330 P4 (1967), 512 S (1970), 512 M (1971), and in the road model Ferrari 512 BB (1976).
