I just ordered this brand new book from the publisher, Dalton Watson, www.daltonwatson.com

Disappointingly, this is not the long-awaited autobiography, but apparently is a series a reprints from Road&Track (Salons, driving impressions, road tests, etc). At $80 it's pretty spendy, but I couldn't resist it. Dalton Watson books are typically spectacular and beautifully presented.

I just hope PH will get us an autobio before much more time goes by. His chapter in "Ferrari: The Man, The Machines" is superb. One can only imagine how compelling a detailed account of life inside the Scuderia in the 1960s would be.

Phil Hill did an autobiography. called, "An American Champion" , a while back, and it was recently updated. You should be able to still get a copy.
Try the Motorsportcollector.com and you might even be able to get a signed copy !!!
(good book by the way.....little dry, but a good book for a Hill / Ferrari fan...)

You may be thinking of "Phil Hill, Yankee Champion" written by William F. Nolan in 1962. (I got a signed copy when it came out. More than 40 years later, I still have it!) It was reprinted a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure Phil has yet to tell his own story.
