Great, I was planning to make a trip from Austin to Houston for the annual auto show coming up, went to check out the exhibitors, and Ferrari won't be in attendance. Kind of dissapointed in it, Lambo nor Pagani won't be in attendance either. I'll more than likely go anyways, been meaning to for a few yrs now to go to one. Anyone else going?

I'm going this Friday morning on "press day". Kinda sad when press day is 6 hours long. FWIW, the Ferrari display in Detroit was very very impressive.

Did the TV auto show do a small report on Ferrari? I caught the show around 12:30.

They did but the coverage was so bad it didn't matter anyway. I'll be seperating out my photos of Detroit tonight and link you to the Ferrari gallery.

Damn, this has to be a joke. I think i'll probably still go though.

Anyone know if Ferrari was there last year? If so what cars did they showcase?

Unfortunantly I dont think so. I also checked on the Houston Auto Show site on the exhibitors list and Ferrari isn't listed. Not only that but they have the floor layout already posted and Ferrari isn't listed on it either. I doubt they would make last minute changes if Ferrari decides to show up. Porsche and Lotus will be there though.

A perfect opportunity to showcase the F430. I guess Ferrari is on another planet or something.

Texas is the second largest car enthusiast state in all of America, that's why.

First rule of the internet, never believe everything you read.

There may have been some last minute changes but hopfully Alan Leach will confirm this for sure. I can understand maybe Ferrari being a no show maybe for a lack of 2005 inventory but not Maserati. They should at least show off the cars of the Risi Racing team. If it happens, it happens. the Dallas Autoshow went for a couple of years without Ferraris on display. Some of you Houstonian F-chatters post some photos of the event.

    Thanks

For one of the largest, well known Ferrari dealers to not attend, what a shame.

This is just a guess, because I haven't talked to anybody at FOH about this, but I'm thinking that showing Ferraris at this show is a waste of money. I doubt that they have ever sold a car at this show.
