    Very sad :(.

I concur, almost for sure a 348, based on the flush sidemarker light and the headrest. There do not appear to be airbags deployed... Also, on top of the car is the front left fender panel above the wheel, matches that of a 348.

    So very sad.

Talked with Anthony ( Service Manager of Paragon Motorcars) who lives off of Quail Run, He said that he has a neighbor close by with a 348.

So Sad for all parties involved.

That area has construction going on with short/abrupt lane changes as they expand the roads. Also, there are signs posted and orange barrels etc so it is pretty clear that it is a construction zone.

    Indeed a sad situation regardless.

That is definately an unfortunate event. I hope the driver makes it OK, but it will be hard for him to live with the reality of this crash. What did the car hit? The report I read said that it crashed into someone's backyard and burst into flames. I don't see to much fire damage, but that car is in real bad shape.

It seems to have impacted a post front dead center. In addition, the passenger's side has been peeled away completely. So passenger was sitting exposed to anything that might come flying her way afterwards. Makes a good case for a really solid rollcage in all cars, doesn't it?

    Very sad. RIP.

I would guess the car hit a tree or two before going through the fence.

A woman in her backyard ... who now is dead :(.

EDIT: Okay I'm confused. I'm sure when I first read this there was a woman involved that was not in the car ... now I cannot back this up. Thus I guess I have to retract the above statement .

As Alex said: Such a sad event, yet such a preventable one.

According to the news article, only one person, the passenger, male, in his mid-twenties, died... The article is updated to say that the driver is expected to live.
