Anybody have a good referral for a shop in Austin that can align a Ferrari F430? I have my own shim set. To save everybody time: Hill Country Ferrari Service - Brian does not have alignment equipment. Ferrari of Austin - is not touching my car. Moorespeed - charges a minimum $3K for an alignment, with a mandatory ride height adjustment and corner balance whether I need it or not. I have my own scales, set my own ride height, and balance my own corners. TIA, Bob
I just had my 328 done by Collin at SoulSpeed, on Burleson road. Recommended by Randy Whitten of Petrol Lounge. I've only got 50 miles on it, but it's very solid and no shimmy. Collin spent the better part of 5 hours on the car, including roadforce balancing, which showed 3 of my 4 wheels needed attention. I'd recommend him at this point, without hesitation.
BTW Soulspeed charged me a VERY reasonable amount, although there was zero work other than alignment and balancing. South of $300, although YMMV. Also provided printed before/after measurements.
