I'd say a few laps in San Marcos might be just as much fun as a week around town...but then I'd imagine pitching 300k + Sterling fearlessly at fresh armco is a learned sport
I believe they are an option. They look great on the GranTurismos. They had a white one with those darker wheels outside of the Ferrari dealership here in Arizona and it looked amazing.
I had forgotten about it but yesterday morning I spotted a silver Aston Martin DBS parked somewhere downtown. This morning I spotted what looked like a black Aston Martin DBS Volante heading east on Bee Cave Rd near Barton Creek Blvd. Then I spotted a Rosso Corsa California with the top up heading east on Bee Cave Rd near Cuernavaca Dr. At about 3:30pm I spotted a black Bentley Flying spur heading West on Bee Cave Rd near 360.
458's don't have VIN on the steering column. They are in the same location as the California and 599...and Audi, and MB, etc....
Today at about 5:08pm I spotted a Rosso Corsa F430 Spider with the top up heading north on 620. Then at 5:20pm I spotted a red with white stripes Ford GT heading west on Bee Cave Rd near Cuernavaca Dr. After that I spotted a black Bentley Flying Spurn heading west on Bee Cave Rd near 360.
Today I spotted this light blue 612 in the front of Ferrari of Austin. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did you happen to see the interior? I'm wondering if this is the one with Creama interior that almost looks white.
Yesterday I stopped by Ferrari of Austin and spotted a black 458 Italia with 2 tone interior. It had the black standard leather seats gray alcantara stripes running vertical alone the seats. They also had a Grigio Silverstone 458 Italia with Cuoio interior and standard wheels. Unfortunately I didn't get any interior shots of either car. As much as I love the black 458 (I'm biased towards black exotics), the dark silver 458 looks like a literal spaceship. Wow, just wow. I'd go months if not year(s) w/o seeing a Ferrari in the wild in WPenn in the '80s/'90s, but in Austin I'm amazed that it's days at most (often multiples in a given day).

Thanks Will. I'm really glad I got a chance to see it up close. Both cars will be at the dealership for a couple more days if anyone wants to stop by and check them out.
Holy crap! Those are beyond amazing! Nice shots Mike! That Prelude outside looks like it could keep up
Nice pics of Schumi's former ride. I have a team jacket from that era. Thanks for the share, as always!
Mike....Do people stare at you while to are kneeling, laying down, and standing on your tippy toes ,taking all those odd angled shots of the cars in there ? I was just wondering.....LOL! There probibly pretty use to you by now....
I usually don't lay on the floor at FoA but I did for some of those photos. They all know me & I'm usually the only one there, other than the employees. Nobody was even in the room with me when I was photographing those cars. I'm sure people driving or walking by might have thought it looked weird.
