Most cars that I admire are not Ferraris. :D

The 308 is running great and causes me no issues. Ive been spending most of my time on a british project that got thrown at me.

Not going to lie. Its hard to find that body style Prelude in that nice of a condition. My aunt used to have a 1991 Si in black/tan that she bought new. I really liked that car.

Saw those when I dropped the Cali off to have a few things done. Really nice to see them in person! Can't believe how small that cockpit is on the F1. Those racer boys must be teeny-tiny jockey-sized!

I found a 04 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale. I think the guy is asking too much. It has 6,982 miles, red/black suede interior, never tracked, clean carfax, garage kept. Any idea what something like that is worth?

And here I was in town last weekend, drove by FOA, SAW the cars, and DID NOT STOP!

Now I am kicking myself because they will be gone before I have a chance to get back into town.

Im am betting you shot those on Saturday.
While I was at Dave and Sonnys watching the UT game.
And you didnt call me, because I didnt let you know I was in town.
    Damn.

Normal end of day, we move all cars inside at night. All the race cars we house were moved into storage 6 months ago to make even more room. That yellow car is a 1964 Ginetta G4 made in the UK. It weighs a little over 1000 lbs and equipped with its original 1.5 liter Ford Cortina engine with 125 HP....very fast. There is sort of a Fiat in the back we are finishing up, a 1961 O.S.C.A with Maserati engine we just rebuilt....some had Fiat engines.

I heard today that the Vector that was here in Austin being restored just burned to the ground today in Brownsville. Will post photos as soon as I get them.

    Yes...very sadly it is true.
It was not "being" restored...I have had it together for quite a while now.
Glad you got a couple of shots of it when you did Mike.
The owner had just filled it up with fuel, was driving down the highway, looked back and saw flames...He stood there and watched it burn, forgetting all about the fire extinguisher I had installed in its trunk...
Very depressed about it... Have no idea what caused it.
Performed about 60k worth of work to it...God only know how many hours, several allnighters and hours and hours of researching parts, schematics and contacts...
    Really sucks....

    Hmm

Could be another Ethanol victim. As most of us know by now the ethanol forced on us is wreaking havoc on old fuel systems especially rubber hoses.

I saw a YouTube video of a 308 in Washington state go up in flames at the gas pump.
Hagerty Insurance has a dedicated web page to the host of problems it presents.
Chris you might want to educate the owner a bit so he can discuss that possibility especially after just filling the tank with the insurance company.

We've seen first hand evidence how nasty it is replacing 100's of feet of fuel line since Jan 2010.

    Hi team,
as you know, I had to move to Brazil recently and I put my f430 for sale... At least something good came of it: I spent the day today in Interlagos (ATT Williams invited me, so I was nice to Nico and Rubens... unfortunately I didn't get a Ferrari invite.....) I didn't get any "Mike-like shots, but here are a couple ones from the pit, the garage and my best attempt at a decent Alonso racing shot... I think people in this thread will appreciate it.

By the way... In the track you can really tell how fast those Reb Bull cars are... from the very first lap ... unbelievable aerodynamics.. Alonso put up a great come back in the last 10 laps, but you have to give credit to the Red Bull cars.... they deserve the constructor championship with those machines...
