DFW Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

Out here in Cali, still. Was going through Belaire and Beverly Hills yesterday, and got to see a new Rolls Drophead Coupe, that thing was amazing!

Red 512 TR for sale on used luxury car lot, south side of Lemmon Avenue just west of Tollway, 2:30 PM 7/31.

 

Tuesday evening over near 183 and Beltline, I spotted a 612 Scaglietti in Argento Nurburgring.

 

I saw that too when I brought the 355 in to Norwood's.

They had a nice black 360 Spider, IIRC.

Noticed that the Maser dealer had a beautiful 430 Berlinetta as well.

 

Outside temp was 100+ when I passed by there...made me sick to see all those nice cars baking.

I was in the 308, on my way to Norwood's for continued sorting-out of a hot running problem.

 

When I got back my deposit on a Challenger at Dallas Dodge on Lemmon, the owner stopped to talk, and said the 512 had been his car. I believe the car lot is his also.

 

When I was at that small car lot several months ago, when they had that purple Neiman Marcus edition Cadillac XLR, the Testarossa had a deposit on it (sold). That's what they told me at least.

 

A Gray 599 at 1.45pm on Central Expressway at Lovers its the first one that I have seen out on the road.

 

I was thinking the same thing!!

Poor cars, let's find them a loving home where they'll be properly cared for.

 

I drove by the lot again today and the TR wasn't there...looked like they had several Vipers.

 

599GTB parked next to my RUF Turbo R this morning at Highland Park Village. Imagine the nice surprise I had seeing it when i walked towards my car.

Kind of makes the RUF look like a powerwheel. The difference in size is surprising...

 

Check out a 308 next to a 599 if you can find a picture. The 308 is about 2/3 as wide.

 

BUGATTI.

A friend was coming in on 30 from FW to Dallas and was passed up by the car. Still had temp tags on it. He managed to shoot a pic, but my phone doesn't get text pics.

Awesome...the kind of notable non-Ferrari exotic that merits posting on this thread.

BTW, in the last month I've seen probably a half-dozen each Bentleys and Astons on my work commute through Highland Park. Yawn.

 

Yes, when I was in Highland Park Village yesterday I saw 3 Bentleys parked. I also saw a nice black 430. Even my wife said it looked good in black. And I am starting to see a few RR Phantoms too. One parks next to me in my work parking garage. That thing is big.

 

I don't think "exotic" is suitable for the Bugatti. Awesome or mindblowing is more appropriate...

On 66 in Rowlett, a maroon GT500 and I think it was a GT500 KR... it had aftermarket (Chrome) rims so I couldn't really tell but it had the raised slot in the hood instead of the black louver things... Do they make that in maroon? It was solid maroon

And on the Tollway, no less.

 

Well if they are from here, they will be at the show at Sammy's on thursday. But among the cars that are out here, those just get a nod because they are frequent, as well as the new Challengers.
