Ya, it's something that there's a Veyron strolling around Dallas. What I find more interesting though is that he's in "top speed" mode.
Drove past yesterday and there were Vipers the TR was sitting behind them does not look in that great a shape.
Thursday's a work day, directly across Lemmon from the lot. I'll take a break and walk over for a closer look at the TR.
Could have been heading for the north end of the tollway, towards 380 I think, awesome stretch of pavement up that way...
Agree...mere "exotic" doesn't do it justice...my 308's an exotic. The Veyron is more of a land going spaceship. Sure, will post whatever I find out.
White Arnage T on Town East at 635 last night around 5. Coral Flying Spur at lunch on Ridge Rd @ i-30 in Rockwall today. Not exotics as we have mentioned, but rarities out here, and never seen a Coral Flying Spur before. Thought it was an Arnage color...
I know the new Maserati GranTurismo is not an ultra exotic car, but I think it's worth calling the spot when completely by chance, it's parked about 30 feet away from a previous gen Maserati GranSport! Rob, was the GT still there when you left 'dinks?
Graphite Panoz Esperante in front of La Familia on Foch today at luchtime. Looks pretty good in person.
went on med cruise last month and it was a blast. tried to get photos of cars when I could, but sometimes they were zooming past and camera wasn't ready and other times I just got tired as there were so many. Bentley's and Mercedes were like Hondas. Today, at the intersection of 635 and MacArthur, I saw the arse end of a dark grey car turning right about 100 yards ahead of me - It was unmistakeably a Lamborghini, with the basic shape of a Murcielago, but the tail lens treatment was nothing like I had ever seen. The intake vent flappy gill-type things were in the open position, and something was just, DIFFERENT! It was gone down a steep hill before I could get a closer look. I thought maybe I had spied a Reventon, but upon reviewing lots of pictures, and given the HIGHLY unlikelihood that it was one of 20 Reventons made, I think what I saw was an LP640 Roadster.
I didn't notice a soft top, it could have been rolling top down. I did see all the crazy rear decklid polygonic shapes that I now see belong to the LP640 Roadster, as well the taillight treatment matches more closely to the LP640 than the Reventon pics I see.
It's funny that there used to be a Panoz dealership in Plano (there may still be), but I've only seen a Panoz in this area one time.
Silver Gallardo around Greenville and Prospect last night. Looked better than most Gallardos for some reason, but I have no idea why.
Funny, I saw it on Thursday when I picked up the 355 from Norwood's. I saw your new 308, very nice, congrats!!!
Silver V10 M5 with a front lip, had some 345's on the back and the main reason I think it deserves to be in here...had some dymags on it. I'd have pics but didn't have a camera on me, just the blackberry.
That TR seems to come and go...it was on the lot Monday, missed it Thursday and today. I appreciate the compliment on the 308...a great car, I'm very happy with it.
