Sorry, the "motor-quest" was meant for someone else. I was a bit tired I guess, and mixed up my reply.
I don't know what my schedule looks like this week, but I will try to make it out. I'm a little weary of the "ricekiller" part though, as I drive an Accord. I will check it out anyway when I am able....

Well, here's what a Callaway C4 Corvette looks like, as a TT or SuperNatural, pretty much identical from the outside
    http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/Images/2007Funfest/c14.JPG

Here's a C5, as a Callaway C12; you'd find one of these unmistakeable as the ground clearance is about an inch
    http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/Marketplace/car8/99c12c.JPG

    And here's a Corvette C6 as a Callaway C16
    http://www.callawayownersgroup.com/Images/2007Funfest/c4.jpg

The C4 Corvettes are much more widespread, and there are a lot in the area surprisingly! If you saw a red C12 or C16 though... wow!!!!

    Oh yes... unexpected spots today.

As I was driving South on 287 from the middle of no where near Amarillo back to Dallas... I saw a powder blue 4 door Bentley Continental, and a few hours later... a red Testarossa driving north!

I mean... come on! What was it doing there? It was literally 100s of miles away from any town remotely populated. Who here has seen a REAL Ferrari between Bowie, with a population of 5,546, and Decatur, with a population of 6,275? Muchless one with a V12? That car... probably caused a few traffic accidents today!

Most entertaining spot I've had in awhile! Thumbs up to the driver giving me something to look at!

Is the Veyron regularly parked somewhere?

They said the Veyron would be gone in a few days, and that was almost a week ago. Might be gone by now...

It looked more like the C5/C12. There are still a few differences though. I will try to look up a pic of one like it and post it...

    O_O It wasn't a Callaway LM was it? http://www.corvettelegends.com/1calla-1.jpg

    That'd be unusual.

That happens to me when I go down to Houston. Seen a Bentley Flying Spur, Brooklands, a Quattroporte, and a Lotus in the middle of nowhere. I'm going down on Saturday so my eyes will be on the lookout!

On the Veyron, is it new or used? Just wondering. It was there on Saturday... worth taking a trip to see... very nice

Reason I asked is cause it has manufacturer plates not dealer plates so I wasn't sure if it was sell or show

Last night, around 8:30, a silver Bentley CGT at 66 and Chiesa. I love those taillights at night... A few Maser QP's today. A maroonish one off of Greenville around Lovers this morning, then a champagne colored one shooting away from the redlight at NW HWY and Lawler around 5:00...

Yellow Gallardo eastbound on 380 out of Denton today, in the middle of the rainstorm. Good for the driver.

I know I capitulated awhile back, but now feel a need to make a new suggestion:

Rob, let's rename this forum DFW Lambo, Aston, Bentley, Porsche, and Hotrod Vette Spotters Forum, and start a brand-new one called DFW Ferrari Spotters, for Ferrari spots only.

I keep waiting for "Nova" spotted on Preston. It would be nice to have just a community spotters thread for Ferraris only. Leave the other rif-raf; lambos, etc. on this thread.

Well we spotted a beautiful blue Maserati Q-Port at Highland Park Village today. I know this is hardly exotic for the area, but it does have a Ferrari engine (kinda).
