DFW Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

Fixed. There, I said it.

No Ferrari spots, except the black/crema 360 Spider that sits forlorn at Music City Motorsports. However.. I'm somewhat partial to this "black spider" at MCM.

Kinda diggin' that one. Is there an Eldorado under there? Change out da rimz, er, the wheels for something a bit less steamroller/bling, it could be a hoot.

Really short guy in a darker red 360 Spider at the Chevron at 66 and Centerville in Garland.

 

That was Aldo. I seen him twice today. Once at his shop, and a few minutes later around 7:00 on 66 at Chiesa.

 

Shiny new black Aston passed us in front of AAC around 1:30 or 2:00 as we were taking the Mavs banners down...

 

That's funny... I go by his shop about once every two weeks and I've never seen him at the shop...

 

FTW Sighting: red 355 GTS in SW FTW on Bryant Irvin and SW Blvd southbound about 7:20 Friday evening

 

WOW, an interesting weekend.

So on Friday I'm heading out to Murphy and I glance to my right, there is a Gumball Oldsmobile Cutlass parked at a dealership! (turns out he owns them). Weird coincidence. Then on the way home I pass by a RUF rt12 (silver) and have to stop for it. At that point I get a text from a friend telling me there is an orange Gallardo Spyder on Firewheel Pkwy. Well, I'm on Firewheel Pkwy., but turns out it is 2 streets in front of me and I can't catch up. As soon as I'm about to turn around a orange Gallardo passes going the other way! So I take some pics...

Then Saturday:
I go to the Harbor for the car show and in valet there was a yellow Gallardo and a Viper. When I left the car show there was a TWIN TURBO Ford GT and a few Vipers scattered across the parking lot. BUT, in the car show there was the Gumball Viper! (Both of those cars I missed at the Gumball event because I left early). Then on the way home, 2 different V8 Vantage Roadsters, a Brabus Smart, and some other stuff but I can't remember.

Red 430 Spyder on Gaston and Abrams. Great day for a top-down cruise.

 

Yesterday, out in the Boxer all afternoon:
SB on 377, just S of Whiskey Flats - Ford GT (I only cought a glimpse, headed N from Granbury)

About 3 minutes later, decided to take the scenic route and turned NW onto 1187 (just N of Whiskey Flats, heading towards Aledo).....Coming right at me was a 575 SA. Anthracite, top flipped back. Yummeh.
Nice to see a non-red one, and I knew there was one around FW somewhere.

And it looks like Ken has moved his SLR . . . . . about 3 ft. down on the lift. He really needs to take it out sometime; maybe I should volunteer.

 

Oh, yes. Then the first spots were on Sat and the show/second were on Sunday

 

If the car was a silver no-stripe GT....that was me. Heading home from the track at Cresson. Went out to watch some of the "Driver's Edge" guys run.

 

Saw a nice looking group of cars this evening, about 7:15pm.
Heading north on 75, taking the ramp to westbound 635, was a black CGT followed by four 430s.

Earlier in the day I saw a new Camaro SS also on 75. Decent looking car I guess, but the sucker is HUGE and doesn't do much for me.

Oh, by the way, who has the black Veyron seen occasionally in the Knox/Henderson area? Such a little car for all that hp.

Had a nice red 360 follow me down Centenary near Hillcrest last night. Hello Parker !

 

Love the GT. Actually have 2...my DD, white/blue '05 (14K miles) and my silver no striper (2K miles, more of a garage queen). I track the white GT at Cresson. Been lurking here, learning about F-cars.

 

Must have been another one - This one was darker, couldn't tell if it had the stripe in that moment, but it was heading SB towards Cresson mid-afternoon (I was headed NB). We seem to have several around here, and they occasionally escape their garages, thankfully.
Watch for a white Boxer when you're out - that'll be me.

 

Saw a Red Enzo on the news. It's apparently owned by a Rangers player. I think his name was C.J. Wilson...?

 

Monday night had a nice deal of exotics leaving. 2 F430 Spiders, grey/black stripes 430 Scuderia, & black Carrera GT leaving sounded like a symphony.

 

Black R8 with silver blades this morning headed East on 190. Great looking car.

 

Nope, not his. For sale at Ruf.

 

Spotted a black F430 spider travelling northbound on Hillcrest Rd. in the school zone by Hillcrest High School a little past four o'clock this afternoon.
