Spotted Blue/Cream Veyron Spyder this morning headed SB from Walnut Hill on the DNT. Couldn't get camera phone out of my pocket... LOL Steve
I keep seeing a Mondial (Cabriolet) on the Tollway. It's a red 3.2 or T with the top down. I see 360s and 430s almost daily, it seems, but I'm always watching for the old Mondials.
Red Scuderia turning southbound on 75 service road from street that Taverna is on 930PM. Can't remember name. I presume it was at Taverna. What a sound, what a car...damn!
Quite the collection at Cars and Coffee today, most notably a very dark blue Veyron. First one I've seen, and it's gorgeous. Brand new M16 also showed up, and a 599 with a 6 speed. Good turn out, but boy, was it hot. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Veyron was dark blue? I haven't looked at my pictures yet, but it looked black to me! I wish the Callaway C12 came this month .
No, Ferrari M16. Basically a Scuderia Spider. 499 made. Look at the reflection of the sun in the door. It's very dark blue, but it's blue. IMO.
There was a Callaway there, though it wasn't a Corvette in anyway. C12 though, may have gone back to Oklahoma.
Oh yeah, M16, 16M same thing. I saw a red one at the dealer but didn't know of any others in Dallas, that sounded real nice. Since this is the spotters thread, Nissan GTR, Maserati GranTurismo, and Bentley Continental Flying Spur all on I45 on the way to houston. And a brabus Mercedes GLK passed me doing about 120!
My favorite car there was the yellow Murcielago LP640. I'm not especially fond of Lambo Yellow, but good lord did that car sound wonderful! Man, what a sound! Oh, I didn't realize the Alfa GTV6 there was the Callaway one from Italian CarFest. Cool car, one of Callaway's earliest projects. I looked at my pics, and sure enough! Dark blue. Extremely dark blue in fact. I really thought it was black in person. In other news, I saw an azzurro blue 348 Spyder on the tollway today. I don't think it was Jano, because the color seemed to be the less vibrant blue version.
Nope, not same. Duh. That's what happens when you have too many things going on and you look at weapons the same day you look at Ferraris!
The cars and coffee had a real silver-blue Cobra 427. I would have missed it (thought it was just a kit from a distance) but WriterGuy pointed it out to us.
Yes, he had the paper taped to his windshield. How do you know if they're real? Is the badging the only way to tell?
Well, plus the fact that it was not fiberglas. Of course, some purists even claim that the later Shelby aluminum reproduction cars were not exactly "real" either.
Alot of those Shelby's roaming about. Had one cross in front of me at Dalrock and 66 yesterday evening, a blue one. Also had the blue Aston at the same intersection on Friday night, along with the yellow maser again. Seems there was something else, but it slipped my mind. Did anyone make it to Shreveport for the F430 giveaway at the Horseshoe on Saturday? I did, and man was it beautiful.
Maroon 328 on Rowlett Rd. today, never seen it before, real nice paint job especially under that TX sun... I assume it was coming from Aldo's.
