OMG OMG OWNER: May I please have a ride in the 275?!

 

Not mine, but I have had dinner with the owner. He is the across the street neighbor for a good friend, who had been wanting to get us 2 car nuts together. He also has a 904 Porsche in the garage, as well as a real GT 40 hidden somewhere. He is an active racer as well, so many great stories to tell.

 

Wow, that's some serious metal. Wonder if he brought his GT40 to Pebble Beach this year, since they were the star class this year.

Just saw a fb post with pic. Unfortunately, an Aston Martin went for a dive in White Rock Lake today.

 

19 year old driver out for a joyride, so the rumors say. (Driver is ok.)

No surprise on the F430 going up in flames.

 

Whatever idiot at Ferrari decided to put the gas line so close to the hot exhaust should be strung up.

Prototyping for a new James Bond flick to outshine Moore's Lotus.

 

Black Huracan or Aventador at about 7:30 this morning on University, heading North away from TCU.

 

There was a matte black Aventador on University Tuesday afternoon, the driver turned on White Settlement then did you u-turn in front of Autobahn. The road is so bad there it made me cringe.

Just north of Royal on Reeder was where all the car racing teams had their shops. We would go hang out there on weekend nights in the late 60's. Where I got to hear my first funny car crank up right next to me. Had a flashback and had to get it out.

 

Gray Huracan with paper tags at Bryant Irvin and Alta Mesa in SW FTw today about 1PM. Sure sounded nice as he left the traffic light.

 

Was behind a Black California this morning at 75 and University. It's personalized plate had an oil derrick on it, so probably going to one of the Energy Square buildings near here.
