This question goes to all the members who own a Ferrari, aswell as a Lamborghini...

First off, what cars do you drive? Secondly, do you have a preference between the two cars you drive? Do you have a preference between Ferrari and Lamborghini in general? Did people call you a trader when you bough the Lambo? Or vice versa?

    Thanks.

First off: Get ready for people to not answer the question, tell you to do a search, and just have things get off topic.

But I'll take a stab. Just so you know, these issues ARE brought up here quite often, so look around a bit too if you dont get your answer.

    What cars do you drive?
Majority of people here are Ferrari owners. We've got a decent sized Lamborghini following too. Probably 3/4 Ferrari owners, 1/4 Lambo owners. Just a guess.

Preference between the two cars you drive?
Not sure what you mean. I'll assume you mean between driving a Lambo and a Ferrari. Both are high revving, both are alot of fun. I've only driven a Ferrari once, so I can't say, but I'll go off of what others have said.

Ferraris, generally, are lighter and nimbler. Think of a puppy dog running around your legs wanting to play. Typically high horsepower, decent torque, extremely high revving.

Lamborghinis, generally, are heavier, more horsepower, more torque, AWD brutes. Some complain they doesn't have the same 'connected to the road feel' feel that Ferraris do. Others say thats non-sense. Typically though, Lambos are a bit heavier, probably not quite as tossable, aesthetically extreme (read: attention getters), and amazing road cars. Think of, well, a bull. Hard charging and heavy.

I'm guessing for your run of the mill driver, Lambos are probably a bit more fun on a highway, and Ferraris are a little more fun through twisty back roads. Although both are a blast either way.

Do you have a preference between Ferrari and Lamborghini in general?

    Me? No, not really.

Many do for different reasons. Some dont like the extreme design and the attention that Lambos draw, while others like them for just that reason. Others prefer Ferrari for their amazing history and racing heritage.

Could be a number of reasons people choose one brand over the other.

Did people call you a trader when you bough the Lambo? Or vice versa?

For the most part on this forum, we just like cars. We may joke and give a Ferrari owner a hard time if he buys a Lambo, or praise a Lambo owner for coming to his senses if he sells it for a Ferrari. Everyones going to have their own taste, but we can usually appreciate anyone who really enjoys exotic cars.

    Thanks for the response.

My question is aimed towards the few that own a Ferrari AND a Lamborghini, if that's what you mean.

Good question. Even better answer by LMP234. Always interested in opinions based on experiences as well as personal preference. Thanks to both of you.

That is a good question. I can only imagine how hard it would be to be standing in your garage, coffee and suitcase in hand, in front of a Murcielago and an Enzo. Hmmmm...

Well I have to say that first it is different to own both, the rivalry that most owners feel is gone when you own both. I enjoy both cars a lot I take turns driving them both. The 430 is a very quick car, but the Lambo is a beast and comands more attention. In my personal taste I prefer the Murci;)

In my case, one is a carbed 12 and the other an injected 8 so totally different cars and driving experience=no competition. Anyone, imo, who cares whether someone thinks they are a trader when buying any car, no matter whata the price, has way too much time on their hands. Buy what you like and enjoy the drive.
