    Personally, I would still prefer a Ferrari P4. ;)

Let's see what it does first. The P4 won the 1967 championship with just as tough competition. I don't think this car will win a beauty contest. The P4 would.

The non camo version is definitely better... but lets see how it performs. The F1-75 is beautiful, but...

Just was told the Ferrari 499P WILL NOT be racing now in the 24hrs of Daytona. Maybe I misunderstood but I had thought they were. Damn I am bummed!

I think Ferrari will race only in WEC and not in IMSA.

I think they might run IMSA with older customer cars in a year or two. Looking forward to WEC Sebring, so same track different race. Would love to see the Ferrari race at Road America in IMSA.

Since both IMSA and WEC will run at Sebring, it will be interesting to compare the performances of LMHs against LMDh cars (lap times, fuel range, etc...) even if they compete in different races.

I've only been to Sebring for the FCA event last year, but never for a race. I might be tempted to go to the race in 2023. Sure wish they would do the Petit Le Mans.

They will be racing WEC at Sebring. No IMSA program for next year. Rumor was that there may be a car running with Risi in IMSA in 2024.

There are 2 races at Sebring: the 1000km race for the WEC, and the 12 hours race for IMSA.

The rules were supposed to make it that LMH and LMDh cars could compete in both series, but it doesn't seem to happend.

Both cars can compete in both series, but not everybody can afford it, at least for now.

I think (and I may be wrong) that some LMH teams fear a punitive BoP if they race in IMSA.

Porsche, Acura, and Lamborghini favour IMSA because it's where their market is, so they decided on LMDh instead.

    In theory, they´ll be equal.

    In theory.

In my opinion, they are so different that they shouldn´t be in the same class at all, but well, it´s the way it is.

IMSA isn't allowing Hypercars to run in GTP in 2023 but will for 2024. WEC is allowing LMDh to run in Hypercar next year and both Cadillac and Porsche have announced programs. I can't recall if Acura did or not.

I can see why IMSA wants to have a year of running with their own cars before they add in cars build to a different set of rules. WEC has already had some time running with the Hypercars so they know what they have with them.

Yep understand about Sebring. I usually go…it’s 104 miles from me or watch the entire race from home. Never miss it.

what I meant was…499P will not be at Daytona for the race. This came from Ferrari Club selling tickets. We had thought it would be.
