I didn't mean to challenge the veracity of your source, but it did seem strange that no one else could find anything on this.
But the testarossa was not in the first episode. It was a 1980 Chevrolet Corvette C3 posing as a 1972 Daytona Spyder 365 GTS/4 that had been modified with Ferrari-designed body panels by specialty car manufacturer McBurnie. As for the owner of the car, I'm gonna guess Michael Mann himself?? Total guess.
So why is this an aptitude question? This isn't vettechat.com. I will summon the great FarmerDave to strike down upon any questions that are not Ferrari related.
There was also an early 80s Camaro in the pilot episode that Crockett drove - but I don't think that is what he was looking for....

It is a Ferrari related question as many people thought it was a real Daytona at the time, as well as contained Ferrari parts. On top of that, it annoyed Ferrari enough that it gave the studio two TRs to use in the show instead of the fake Daytona. Round 31...He graduated from the University of Naples with a concentration in economics and marketing. Who is he, and what is his current relation with Ferrari?
Maurizio Parlato, President and CEO of Ferrari North America. Edit: Pipped by 1 minute!! Hah! Oh well, I didn't know the answer, I googled it.
Oh yeah, I am huge Miami Vice fan and I have had a long standing issue with the previous question. In the episode called "Brother's Keeper" (09/16/84) Crockett wants badly to set up a deal with "The Colombian". So he meets up with a mid level dealer soon turned informant named "Leon" (Mykel T. Williamson/Bubba from Forest Gump) who likes eating chicken in his SL Merc. The shot that was framed of Crockett outside waiting in his car for Leon you can see that his Daytona has a very correct rear side marker light, door handle, driver mirror and triangular A-pillar window frames. Items that are commonly missing from Corvette kits. This shot was the car's one and only appearance in the show. I do not know who it belongs to. Try as I have but I am unable to locate the still shot from that episode. Maybe someone with the DVD collection could find it.

Name it (be as exact as possible).
"Who was the last driver under Enzo Ferrari?" Badly worded question. Couldn't you say that the answer is Nigel Mansell, who had agreed to drive for Ferrari in 1989, before Enzo's death in August 1988?
As soon as I posted it I knew it was a badly worded question. Technically though, the Lion did not actually drive during Enzo's lifetime for Ferrari. None-the-less I deduct 1 point from my score.
