I cant find any information online about this event. I was hoping to find some sort of schedule of what will be happening and info on tickets. Its not listed on laguna seca's site and the ferrari site is not helpful either.

Found a little info...was planning on posting a thread later but you beat me to it :)

    http://www.ferrarichallenge.com/challenge/index.cfm?cid=4264

Which day is better to attend, saturday or sunday? I heard FXX cars will be at this Challenge Race? I noticed at the F. Chal. @ infineon, sunday seemed to be the day, a much larger showing of street ferraris in the corral. Who's planning on attending?

    Thanks,
    Brian

I'll be going. This is a Ferrari Challenge race, so FOSV may be doing another caravan from their dealer. Let's look into that.

No need to worry about it. They are supposed to more than likely stay around for the Historics the following weekend.

Is this something a non-owner could come to, and watch from the stands?

Anyone is welcome to come to these events. Went to Infineon when it was there a couple months ago. Lots of fun. No restrictions to the garages. My Avatar is from that day.

Actually that is not the case. It is very reasonable though. Infineon was a just pull up to the gate, Sign a waiver (not sure why), pull in and park, enjoy your day.

I was planning on going to this event, but I have been committed to other plans for the weekend. However the following weekend (Thurs-Sun.) are all in Monterey.

lol. Thanks Brian!!! I can't find any more info on the Laguna Seca Ferrari Challenge. (that's why I'm on this thread) Have you heard anything like ticket prices? I still can't find anything on the Laguna-Seca website.
    Thanks,

Not sure, If I remember correctly Infineon was $20? Whatever, who cares, if it's a couple hundred bucks it's still worth it :p

I e-mailed Laguna Seca and asked them for more information about the event. This was the response:

"This event is just a track rental. However, I do know you are free to come to the track and be a spectator, but the paddock will be closed. The Monterey County Parks Recreation Dept. may charge a parking fee."

It wasn't very clear, but I thought it would help.

The Ferrari Challenge, FXX, and Corse Client F1 cars are "sharing" the track this weekend with the cars participating in the "Pre-Historics".
This event is put on by the same people who do the Monterey Historics, (General Racing,Ltd) and is sanctioned by H.M.S.A.

    That's what I don't know.
In the past, entrance to the Pre-Historics has been free. But It may be different now that the Ferrari events have been added.
I'll try to find out in the next day or two.
