    Hello fellow collectors,

I'm a collector of official Ferrari literature and I've been roaming the forum for quite some time now.
Since I don't often see any threads about official Ferrari literature on fchat, I decided to show you a small part of my collection.
As you can see I included a few scans of some of my early b&w postcards. I have gathered over 120 official b&w postcards by now, starting from 1947 til 1976, but I'm quite sure there are still a lot of unknown ones out there. This is of course what keeps a collector going ;)!
In any case, should anyone have extra information on any (early) official b&w Ferrari postcards, I'm always interested. If you have some cards, but don't know if they are official, feel free to send me some pictures and I'll be happy to assist if possible.
I would love to get in contact with other collectors to share information or scans on anything regarding Ferrari literature.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a mail.

    Best regards,

    Koen Vermeulen

Great to see the old postcards here. Were the examples you collected with postage stamps (used) or new with no writing on the back. Do the early cards printed after 1964 have a Ferrari Publication Number on any of them? Also for the very early cards can you show some of the backs - do they have the name of the printer or just Ferrari or something else? Thanks

Almost all postcards in my collection are unused. I try to find them in the best possible condition so, no stamps, no writings on the back and even preferably no signatures :).
The first numbered postcard is from 1978 with the Pista di Fiorano on it (it's in color). I included some backs of some different early ('48-'54) postcards. I tried to make a selection of different ones so you see what variations there are. As you can see, some have the back of a real postcard, some are just white, some have a small text written with a typewriter etc...
If you have any other questions please let me know.

    Best regards,

Hello Koen: thank you for the link to your web site! The material you have collected is amazing. The 1950 Ferrari Yearbook jumps off the page; it is a very rare item to find. You have collected much of the Ferrari history there. I can understand the difficulty in finding perfect condition unused postcards. I notice an American with a large Ferrari postcard collection for sale on ebay. It would seem you are not missing many cards though.
Did you ever get to visit Jacques Swaters Ferrari literature collection after it was re-organized around the time of FF40?

    Welcome!

    Very interesting early pieces!

There's some 50s yearbooks being offered right now, from a collection on eBay....some of them rocketed past $1,000 USD each......

    Wow!

Thank you for the compliments on my website. As you may have read, the items on the website are only some doubles of the collection. The collection now consists of over 9000 items starting from 1930 til now.
Yes, I have seen the collection of Jacques multiple times as it was located only 50 miles from my place.

With such a large collection is there any item that you consider really special or that you were aware of but the item was difficult to pry away from another collector? Perhaps something you had to find as trading material for getting something that you wanted even more from another collector? The search is half the fun!
Richard Veen had some interesting modern items on offer over the years when he visited the auto shows.
