My son has been in a Recaro seat from day one!! He is now 4 and he still loves his Recaro, "little man" race seat. We had the five point harness one when he was younger. We just go the booster for him now that he is bigger. The best part of the Recaro seat is the head support. I know no matter what he is protected. When he is in my porsche 914-6 scca race car he says "we have the same seats". Recaro is #1 in my book!! Nothing is to good for TYLER!! This product is thumbs up!!

Yes I have that seat! We had to buy it directly from Italy. I am not sure about the legality of the seat but I feel my daughter is safer in other seats and we rarely ever use it

By the way the seat in the pic is not a Recaro!

I use the Recaro in my 360 with great success- it really fits well in the seat and mounts perfectly. I've not yet been able to disconnect the airbags, but judging by a wrecked 360 I've seen and the diminutive size of the bag that comes out- there is no way for the bag to hit a child properly restrained in a seat in case of a collision.

+1 on Recarro Young Sport. Fits perfectly in the MINI and is a breeze with LATCH (ISOFIX). It is also narrow enough to easily fit in the 348.

Mom's car has a Britax Boulevard which is highly rated, but so incredibly big that it would never fit in a Ferrari.

Ours is navy/black, but I don't know if that color combination is still available.

we have them in stock here at Ferrari/Maserati of Central New Jersey, they are not built by Recaro, but they are decent seats. i bought one for my 3 year old son and he loves it and it fits well. the back comes off to become a low booster seat for older children.

I have the Ferrari seat and use in my 360. It's funny the comments we get when we are getting in or out of the car. Most people are more excited about the seat than the car!

We also have the Recarro's for our kids. Very well made. The kids really like them - very comfortable. As I recall, they had one the best, if not the best, crash ratings.

The wife and I are expecting in July and have just started researching and buying the basics. Our first purchase was two Recaro child seats. Aside from everything covered here, they were highly reccomended by a friend of mine who is a state trooper.

Congrats on the new family member. Some quick advice I give expectant new Dads since I have semi-recently (he's 2) had my first child. I read all the books, went to the doctor's appointments, did the birthing classes at the hospital, websites, DVD's, etc. and basically overwhelmed myself and freaked when she went into labor. All this just to find out that the doctors and nurses will tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. A LOT less complicated than all the preparation makes it seem.

Back on topic, I'm thinking of getting one of these (RECARO) for little Max and was wondering, is $250 pretty much the standard price? Does anybody know of any bargains? Better yet, a retailer where I can check it out in person?
