I'm really just cleaning house, and trying to recoup some insurance losses, on the rest of my art work.
They were brutal on my "old Stuff"......

There were actually THREE Gala Barbie's sent my way, the First One was stolen by Porch Pirates out in North Katy, the second one came as a replacement, and yours was the third one! But the Net delivery was only two.

Amanda after Art Car Years went on to graduate UT Austin and recently married and is now expecting, a girl!!!


So there's a chance I will "Start Over" with Barbie someday, for the first five years or so the shoes and small accessories are considered dangerous.

My refinished Child Crib in red enamel got away too, discarded by my Lovely First Wife.
But Safety Laws on them have gone so far since 1958 it's probably just as well!!!!

 

The Art Car came off the blocks this year as a Static Display, sponsored by DeBeers, and the Houston Historical Society, in the Park downtown behind City Hall.

They were trying to achieve Carbon Neutral Status for the event, so I turned it off and STFU until 4Pm.
Then it was a Triumphant Run west on Allen Parkway, as the Police Barricades came down!!!

LOL!

My computer burned up the next week, so I never blogged the Art Car Weekend, but DeBeers is a very popular company!!!
I wore new earrings.....

 

Bump to say, I still have all three versions of Barbie available.

Gala Sale fell thru, I found a cool plastic Barbie Tote Bag. with the first one to sell today.

I also have the Barbie/007 pair, set in Monaco I believe.
