Some of us got together and designed a Ferrari jersey - not for "Ferrari bikes" but for Ferrari enthusiasts who ride bikes. One of my old sponsors is making a run of them for us. There are a few people on here who are on the list for them but there are some extras that we'll have.

BTW, what's so special about those Colnagos that you think they should get their own jersey? They're somewhat unspectacular to ride, heavy, not very responsive and not that well made. It just says Ferrari on it. Maybe you have a Ferrari Acer lap top, too?

I don't have a Colnago but have a Cannondale R3000 and & an old Campy Record Torpado that looks like a gazelle & rides like one too. <17 lbs w/ a twitchy note is good.
Have a source for a jersey?

    ryan,

let me know if you have anything avail in lg. i would love to buy a jersey or bibs. if i remember correctly, you were a giordana rider so that means the jerseys will be great quality.

and btw...as ryan said, that colnago is a dog! ugh! there are 10 small custom shops that build a nicer platform. roberto billato is a better frame biulder if it is italian that you need!

ryan, hope you are well bro...and btw, the 748 is sold to my old friend ducatierv.

Pete, don't know if we'll have enough for bibs yet but you're down for an L (5). I'll keep you in the loop.

I bet DE's enjoying that 748 at Road Atlanta? I sold everything but the 998RS. It should be back in the garage pretty soon with the new paint job and a starter on the engine. And tuned for altitude. With the baby, I promised that I would stop riding on the street and only own one track bike.

BTW, I think that I'll be in SoCal at some point in the next couple of months. Up for showing me the ins and outs of the 512BBi and the 930? I may have a bike with me so maybe we can do some miles on PCH?

ryan, that would be great! it will be great to finally hook up. btw, i'm in charlotte this minute and should be hooking up w/ chris harkey, and georgie boy for a mtn romp. george is now a world class stud ...glad the season is over so he won't hurt me too badly. it wil be cool to see him. how was vegas? did you see lots of old friends? i'm going to try to do 2's next year but i'm worried im not on the road enough...i just wanna race! i have had a really tough time getting my legs and lungs back since i got hit a while back.

must be good to be ryan sabga and still be able to kick ass w/o even trying!!!

I'd be interested in a jersey if there is an extra in large. No italian frames here, but I do run Campy on my road bike, and I have a reasonable "scuderia." Does that count?

Pete, I just want to stay in decent enough shape so that if I get some time to race again in the next couple of years, I'll have a decent starting point. Next year, I am going to do the California Triple Crown, which would be a fun thing to do. I can do those with about 8 hours on the bike/week whereas the minimum to jump back in and race for me is about 25 hours/week. I don't have any kind of time like that!

Did George get a Ferrari yet? Last time I spoke to him he had an M3 and some ridiculously big Mercedes and I was trying to convince him to get a Ferrari. He drove a friend's 355 but was unsure. I kept telling him if J.C. Robin could get away with it, then it was a no brainer for him! Is Chris still racing for Rich's team? I haven't talked to him since I retired.

You need a lot of hours to race CA 2's even in the crits. Give it some time with the base and you'll find the high end start to come back shortly after. It's a ton easier to get back to where you were than to build new fitness. You'll see it come back.
