Had a few questions from Fchatters and ebay, figured I'd answer here: 1) The 5 band EQ came in the earliest cars. The 7 band in later cars, but not sure of the transition. My understanding is the mounting sizes are the same. 2) Yes, the pushbutton for 'flat' works (defeats EQ) 3) I actually did open it up as I have seen these actually rust inside, and this one is virtually spotless. I'd assume garaged most or all of its life; very clean. Hope this helps.
