Just picked up the sixth edition of this, published in 1985 by Guild Publishing of London.

Never heard of it before, but I'm not really all that up to date on what's a good Ferrari read.

    Paid about $10.

Anyone out there know of this book?

it has the reputation of being one of the standard books about Ferrari and a must-have of every decent Ferrari library.
Congrats; $ 10,-- is a great deal. How's the condition ? Not my personal opinion, but the presence or condition of the dust cover is sometimes more important, than the content :) I have an issue from 1979 ( edition ?; my shelf is upstairs ) in not so great condition and paid much more.

    Best Regards from Germany

Had mine for nearly fifteen years.A sixth edition same as yours with 250gto on rear cover. You will find some fantastic period graham gould photos in colour and a rather strange ferrari 2 cylinder engine towards the appendices.Enjoy!

No dust cover, but other than that, in really nice condition.

Interesting photos inside, just getting into it. Gonna be a good bedtime read for a few days, at least.

    Anytime!!

Nothing like diving into Ferrari History.

    I just picked up:

Original Ferrari V12 by Keith Bluemel
Ferrari:The Road Cars by Keith Bluemel
Ferrari on the Road by Stanley Nowak
    Ferrari 250GTO by Keith Bluemel
    and
The Ferrari LEgend: The Road Cars by Antoine Prunet

Guess my reading agenda is set for a while.

Spent about $130 all in for these. Don't know if that's a good or bad deal, but there sure do look like pretty amazing reads.

Just getting into the Ferrari 250GTO book.
