Hey guys, bought recently my first Ferrari, just a few months ago, a California from 2010 with 60.000 kms ( about 37k miles) the car as some issues that I am wondering if some of you could help to diagnose.

    About the Engine Light:
The car has a stuttering issue in about 5.000 rpm is like it cant develop propperly, the spark plugs have been checked and seemed fine although they were not changed, coils the same, they all seem to be good. Had the injectors removed and cleaned, the problem still remains on the 3rd cylinder. Is it possible it could be any sensor? As the car behaves well, is just when I step hard on accelerator it stutters, mostly on 2nd or 3rd gear around 4k / 5k rpm. I have been using premium fuel 98 (The best I can find).

    About Transmission:
The transmission sometimes functions weird, changing gear between 1st and 2nd seems like its not well cordinated. The other day in manual mode i was speeding in 2nd gear and suddenly heard a whoosh hard sound and gear jumped out, then I tried to put other gears manually and it wasnt working, so I could place it in neutral and turned on automatic and the transmission finally worked. Sometimes also appear the code (Manuever not possible) so far I dont have any light on about the trans. But it may seems soon it will need to be repaired, any opinion about this?

These are the biggest issues I am dealing with the car. I absolutely love the car, I had a 911 before, the feeling of this car is totally different from a 911 but I love how it sounds and looks, but unfortunately I still could not use it at it's full potiential and would like to do it as soon as I can fix this issues! Thanks for the Help!

Can't speak to the transmission issues. I have a 2011 with 38k miles - had to have the injectors cleaned last year. Same time - my mechanic removed & decarbon'd the intake. Guess carbon build up is an issue on direct injection engines.

I had a sporatic idle. Certainly runs fine after they cleaned the injectors & removed carbon build up in intake ports.

    Just a quick update.

Did Injector cleaning with the injector clean fluid, and also hydrogen clean with machine. Replaced spark plugs, car is running better but when I press full throttle it's still not 100%, I feel still some misfires. I am starting to get out of options. Any ideas? Car runs fine if i dont press full throttle right away.

I have the DCT speed sensor starting with problems though, can this issue be related? Thanks for the help.

Check all air hose piping clamps are snug, do a battery reset procedure if it hasn't be done already, scan for codes, or if you want it fixed just take it to the dealer and pay to get it fixed proper. It could be any number of things going on... Be prepared to get the DCT failure if your gut is telling you it's about to go ... you really can't truly enjoy the car when you've got stuttering and the back of your mind fear the tranny will go out any minute - especially far from home and not where you want to break down.

    Good luck, keep us posted

Thanks for the reply, I will definetely check all air hoses, I am trying to keep it away from the dealer as long as possible as we all know how easily expensive it can get there. About the dct repair, does anyone know how we can buy that full repair kit that Hollywood Mechaninc sells, in Europe?

    Thanks
