Can someone reccommend a good indoor cover. My garage is a little tight and I would like to know what type and name brand provides the best protection .

If I ever felt I needed a cover I would go with the ones from Ricambi. They have a good selection (indoor vs outdoor).

I do.... on both the f-car and on another sports coupe. Juts keeps them from getting dusty between drives.

I just have cheap covers though since all I use them for is the dust issue; works well enough for this.

I use a cover most of the time for security purposes. I bought a non-descript grey one rather than the red satin factory cover with the cavillino on it. This way you can't really tell what's under the cover and it doesn't attract too much attention.

I have two covers, a red flannel indoor factory cover, replete with yellow stripe and cavallino, and a gray Noah outdoor cover. I never use the flannel cover. The Noah cover goes on and comes off in just a few seconds. When used indoors it protects the car from both dust and scratches, and when used outdoors it appears to be impervious to the elements. The fabric breathes, so even after a heavy rain the car remains completely dry. Also, the UV protection is quite good. Thus, I recommend an outside cover like the Noah, as it can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Same here. At first I was going to get a custom fit, red, f-logo, the works. But then the wife reminded me that I really didn't want to advertise what was in the garage (just my personal decision) so I, too, have this grey colors one that just looks like a very wide Datsun, as far as anybody knows.

I sometimes wonder if covering after a drive (and cool down) may do more harm than good even if your car seems clean. I can't imagine pressing/rubbing unseen dirt into the paint is a good thing.

My main concern is that the only way through my one car garage is between the car and the Harley. I do not want to make the same mistake twice against abrasion and brush up against ,walk by traffic. You have all made some good suggestions. I feel the flannel or terry inside may give the best protection. Good and interesting point about soil possibly embedding in the finish or polish.

I purchased a Covercraft Formfit indoor cover. Vgood dust protection and thick enough to help provide some scratch or ding protection. Also can be washed in a home washing machine. Griots sells it also, but I believe at a higher price.

I bought a cover this morning, and will be using it inside the new garage I just built for the Ferrari, mainly for dust...

Do any of the Ricambi covers have a terry loop or fleece like inner layer like the Griots Form fit ? The Satin Stretch is not specific.

YES, the satin stretch does indeed have a fleecy interior which is actually much thicker and softer than the factory Ferrari covers.

Thanks Daniel, cover is ordered and soon to shipped. Apparently with AOL there can be problems with ordering online, so I called.
