Just saw a teaser on CNBC mentioning that "Ferrari's Chairman" will appear on Squawk Box tomorrow(Tue, 11/29). No name mentioned, so I don't know if this is Montezemolo or whomever heads up Ferrari North America. Also didn't mention how long he'll be on the show or which time slot(guess that's why it's called a teaser :) ).

For those who don't follow this show, Squawk Box is CNBC's early morning biz show. Very corporate/Repub/right wing oriented(it -is- the biz channel). Airs 6:00-9:00am Eastern time. Since they have three hours of live TV to fill, they usually have ample time for interesting discussions with their guests. In this case, I'd expect him to bring along some wheels/eye candy :) If they have him at their desk area, I'd expect discussion, etc. If it's just a quickie intro and then head outside to the parking lot, it's probably just a high end $Christmas/Year End$ segment.

Could be a snoozer or something worth checking out...time to set the ol' DVR.

Tomorrow, Tues, 11/29, 6-9am Eastern time, CNBC...

Well, that was a snoozer/looser. Remote from Miami; couldn't even get him into the studio.

Sorry to get anyone worked up on this one...

so ferrari has to be like a good looking woman. you have to desire her. you have to wait for her. that is for us something crucial like very extreme technology, beauty design and the motion of driving....lol that was a good one from Luca ...........

I watch CNBC every day and that had to be one of their worst interviews. A wasted opportunity to have an intelligent conversation with Luca.

I thought it was pretty good. I learnt something. China is already the 2nd biggest market for them. Montezemolo also said there are plenty of good cars on the used market at a low entry point. It's nice to hear that stuff from the top; Ferrari used to care so little about their older cars. I'd be very interested to see how China pans out as a classic market in the decades to come!

Thing is the interviewer is not at all professional. He knew he had to interview Luca and did not take the time to do some research, especially how to pronounce his name. If I employed that guy and he made the same mistake a few times he would get fired. Plenty of other more professional people out there.
