    Dont know if a thread has been posted, but was there a Ferrari challenge race this weekend at Laguna Seca? The reason why I ask, because a buddy of mine was there and said they ran the F1 2001 and apparently it was close the to track record. He says Ferrari test driver was driving the car, so it has to be Fisichella. Doesn't sound right as I thought Fisi would be travelling with the team.

    Yes the UNOFFICIAL track record was nearly broken. It was a Factory Driver. Not sure who it was, but not Fisi. The car was an F2004. Time was 1:06.3

    I don't know for certain, but believe it was Marc Gene, as he was on site. Whoever it was, what an awesome run! Watching from T4, I just knew it was going to be special, even before they began talking about the times. The sound, the visuals, they're still with me. Forza!
