Anyone going? Me and a couple of freinds are going to go and check it out. http://www.roadamerica.com/2005/races_ferrari.htm edit: anyone know of aything special going to be there either?
Not sure what this is, but its not the Ferrari Challange Series : 2006 Ferrari F40/360 Challenge: Season Calendar Apr 5-6, 2006 Homestead, Florida >> Daily Schedule F430 Driver Orientation Apr 7-9, 2006 Homestead, Florida >> Daily Track Schedule Includes F1 Clienti and FXX Program and Kart Challenge May 12-14, 2006 Infineon Raceway, California >> Daily Track Schedule Includes Historic Challenge and Kart Challenge Jun 16-18, 2006 Mont Tremblant, Canada >>Daily Track Schedule Includes Historic Challenge and F1 Clienti and FXX Program Jun 23-25, 2006 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal, Canada In conjunction with the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix -a
We don't get a lot of ferrari stuff our way but when we do we know it's right http://www.ferrarichallenge.us/ Billed as "Historic Challenge", to include "Ferrari Challenge"
I see that its listed on the Historic calendar, but I will call FNA in the morn, as I am looking at getting a challenge 430, and this wasnt on the upcoming schedule. but hey, they always make mistakes UPDATE: Just spoke to 2 dealerships , and they are NOT going, nor is it on there schedule the next Challenge race event is Weekend of Jun 16th at Mont Blanc, and Montreal is the following weekend. So unless this is a Race weekend that doesnt include the other Race teams, then I would say NO Challenge (360 or F430 that is) event. -a
I was there last year and it WAS a Challenge event. I have pics of ALL of the Challenge cars there (Michael Kors, etc.) I don't know why it wouldn't be again this year.....
Okay so here is the deal, its july 7th!!! Jul 7-9, 2006 Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin Includes Historic Challenge For what ever reason I was thinking people were saying this coming weekend!!! So SAWWWWWEEEEEEE -a
Scroll down and you will see next event is July 7 - 9 Road America. Yes the Ferrari Challenge is coming to RA with the Historic Challenge. Chicago FCA will be there. Usually have parking and tent set up at turn 5.
Yes, Maserati will be there as well. If you are into Ferrari's/Maserati's at all, you owe it to yourself to go, it's great.
Great! I hope they have their line-up there again. I drove the GS last year as they brought a couple with, and I hope to check out the QP this time.
I am planning on going up there from here. I had received an E-Mail about it from FNA. Don't know if anyone else from here are going, but if they'd like, we can do a caravan. Approx. how long a drive is it from the western 'burbs of Chicago up to Road America?
Hey Frank!! We just might induct you into the Central States region (I think we are called central states.....) if you keep coming up to our events!! ;-) Anyway I will be going. I know a BUNCH of us are going. What you might want to do instead is come up the next weekend though. The next weekend is the Brian Redman. It is even better. If you can make it up to both, GREAT, I will be. But if you have to pick one, pick the BRIC. You will see a ton of us up there that weekend. Ferrari Challenge weekend, we might only have 15 Ferraris. I bet we get 20-25 for the BRIC. And Wayne Obry of Motion Products will have a "hospitality" tent with beer and brats at the BRIC. Let me know if you are going to the BRIC and I will get you "set up"...... I will also be at the Ferrari Challenge but will be taking 151 all the way up from Madison.
someone say BRIC???? I'll be there again (4 yrs) and I already have reservations at the lake street cafe for friday... HA! do the f-car folks have some sort of organized/arranged meeting times/places??? would love to meet a few of you...
I saw some pictures of couple cars loading on to a trailor for the event in FL. Do most go to all the stops?? I would def. go to see a F1 car and FXX.
This is a great event. Here are some photos from last years activities. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69566 Should we plan a meeting location?
Boy I hope so! There aren't too many chances to run on a great track like RA... if you are coming for an event you might as well bring all the hardware.
