hey rob i have not kept up with fchat for a while. how's the race team going?
I didn't get any sponsors for 2005 as you know. I'm still waiting on the framed pics for the 2004 sponsors. All the 2004 graphics are still on the car though. Actually will be doing more racing in the car this year since I won't be racing SRX7 with NASA. Did one race weekend back in March, next race weekend is in 3 weeks.
Well, 6 weeks ago plan with race shop was to have built by this weekend's TMS race. As of Friday the car hadn't even been started yet! He still swore it would be ready Friday minus shocks as those haven't been ordered yet. So stripping, roll cage, seat, harness, fire system, steering wheel, sway bars, springs, and graphics need to be done in 7 days!?!
does that mean it's time for Chip and the Overhaulin' guys to jump in? get plenty of pictures.. interested to see how this car works out.
I'm not, that's what I meant. Although I had been thinking about it last year. Might get the program going again in '06.
I'll sponsor this year. Site sponsor was too much $$s, but I'd do another years race team sponsorship. Anyone else? Rob??? Art
