I hope someone shows up with a camera and posts some good pics as I am going to game in Houston. I am sure the tech session is going to be much more interesting than the game (at least I hope so). Have fun.

It was hard for me to make my decision since Wes' San Antonio events have been so successful, but I will be attending the Moorspeed tech session. The last tech session I attended was awesome and I really don't want to miss this one. I will have lots of photos to share with everyone afterwards.

David, I can bring the Bagle Toaster. I sent you an email.

Nope not "any old POS Ferrari" , I'd gladly take a old POS 330 over a new 430, or turbo Honda for that matter..

In fact, here's what I said

Hell, I'd even take these "old POS Ferrari's" over a turbo Honda.
I'm not sure where you read that I'd take any turbo Honda over a "old POS Ferrari".

For your and everone else's edification, here's EXACTLY what you said. Oh, in case you forgot, David Moore, owner of Moorespeed owns a 308. He's not going to be there Saturday, but I would encourage you to tell him the next time you see him "the only thing going for a 308 is the badge".

I'm sorry if I offended you Al by saying I don't like the 308's esp since you own one, but even though I'm on a Ferrari site doesn't mean I have to like every thing with the Rampante. To me it sounds like you just can't understand how someone who likes Ferraris, who is on a Ferrari site doesn't like the 308 or Mondial enough to want one. However, I just can't stand the look of Mondials, it's just opinion, and me not wanting to get one just leave's more for those who lust for them. Sure I like the 308's with some wheel and tire upgrades, they look great as I mentioned below, but in the original thread I said it depended on the Ferrari. A hopped up 308 with some modern wheels and tires, then I'd def chose the 308, I thought I made that clear?

Look I really like 60's Impalas, esp if they are in the lowrider form http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...1094706982.jpg

However, just about every car person (doesn't include general public) HATES lowrider's, they can't stand them and I've heard endless crap about it, but I don't mind because they're not the one driving it and I take it in stride. But hey, if you hate my guts and think I’m a dumba$$ for not liking a stock 308 and saying the Mondial is the ugliest Ferrari ever made (which it does sound like you do think this, however I could be wrong and I don’t mind admitting to something I’ve said that is wrong) then maybe I shouldn't associate with individuals who think so little of my opinion?

Like I said before though, I never said I wouldn't take “any old POS Ferrari even though you said I did, not once on this site, or the old site. As far as David's car yes, I know he's hosting the event. I also said

Rather then "mucking" up Davids thread Al, you can email if have anything to say in regards. [email protected]

Oh I'll be there and I'll own another car after I race you Mr. Chevari around the block for pinks with my "POS" 308QV. Fact is if I had not just sold my "other POS Ferrari", a Mondial t, yesterday I may have elected to race it against you to give you a false sense of security and still get my newest pink slip....from you. ;-)

There are lots of 308's out there and the fact is that Enzo sold a **** load of the them to finance his racing. I'd argue that the 308 is the most successful car in the History of Ferrari. FYI, Ch.... THE ONLY REASON FERRARI EVER MADE STREET CARS WAS TO FINANCE THEIR RACING, EVERYTHING THAT WAS LEARNED AT THE TRACK WENT INTO THEIR STREET CARS AND DOES TO THIS DAY. EVOLUTION OF TECHNOLOGY CAN MAKE A CADILAC OF TODAY BEAT A 250 GTO, DOES THAT MAKE THE 250 GTO A BAD CAR????

There's a lot of poser cars out there that copied Ferrari after the fact, so unless you own(ed) a Ferarri or worked on one personally and understand the inovations that they brought to the sports car for others to follow you may be better suited for "off topic" areas.

FCA prereq is not a bad idea. Hey Al, sorry you can't be there to help me humble this guy. ;-)

Mr. Toad has some fantastic rides. I kinda miss seeing him on his "Wild Rides" around the track.

    Looks good Dave!

Seeing your SD2...what are your thoughts on SD3? I am thinking about getting one for a certain someone for Christmas...

I almost bought an SD3 a few weeks back, but after researching I am waiting for now til some more software updates have been made available. I hear there have been quite a few bugs just like the SD2 as anything new.

There is an aftermarket unit I'm looking at that is supposed to handle all of Ferrari and Maseratti as well as Lambo just like the factory units. It's damn expensive and not yet finished, maybe too good to be true. It is going to be marketed to independents like me. I received engineering specs and photos of it and it looks pretty sweet and tempting.
