It was a fabulous trip. Amazingly, the weather cooperated and we experienced just a bit of rain on the drive out to Winthrop on Friday and virtually none on Saturday during the drive to Grand Coulee Dam.

Chris & Sandra M did have a "moment" on Friday when the right rear tire of their 355 Spider blew out. Frankie loaned his 456M's space-saver spare and John H ran out to Schuck's to pick up a tire iron. Chris was able to make it to the nearest Les Schwab where tires purchased at FoS and delivered by Sandra's brother were installed.

The Cobra guys were in a tough spot given the weather and only one made it all the way out to Winthrop. The other Cobra folks drove their rain cars.

The Chuckwagon dinner was a hoot and we were treated to some cowboy songs by a local singer/guitarist (just returned from reservist duty in Iraq!).

Saturday we had a fun but very reserved drive down to Grand Coulee. That evening we all regrouped after dinner to play ping-pong, pool and foosball. The latter two were dominated by Chris M. Good thing there was LOTS of wine to soothe the pain of humiliation :)

Here are a few shots - others have taken lots more (and better). I know Chris, Dave T and John H also shot some video which should be great fun to watch.

Speed up - LEFT rear tire blows (Props to FoS for pulling through with the tires)

Hang out in Les Schwab....only 3 hours????? Fun!!!

    Late for dinner....Hmmm....

Watch Albert do the "Victory dance"

    Saturday:

    3 tickets

    Sunday:

    Frankie leaves WITHOUT any stories

Anyone care to fill in the blanks? :)

Regardless, trip WAS a fun one Will and thanks for putting it on, great company as always....Cheers!

Sorry I missed the weekend outing and can't wait to show the wife the pics so she will join me on the next outing that. I'm sure she will be surprised to see other woman out for a drive too.

    Chris,
That's a great pic of your car! Was that at the second Dam stop? I didn't see any views like that on the "alternate' route home! Glad you made it through the weekend with your sense of humor in tact!!!

Yeah John, it was the 2nd stop on "the Dam tour" with the "Dam tour guide Will D." What's life without humor! If you think that's funny....I came home to find something wrong with the F150, thank God it's a company vehicle. I'll keep you posted on "the problems" with that.....they always say they come in threes!!!!!!
