    Nothing too exciting.....
We pulled the bumpers off the 575 to color code the sills.
I am always amazed at the construction technique - pretty amazing in this day and age....

If you want to hear the best sounding 360... maybe someone could bring something to record the 360C speciale of Tom warwick, this weekend at Calder.

Siamese system with no cats, 2 tiny (cat replacement) silencers and 2 medium silencers... almost road legal and sweeeet....

I think the 'the good one' is with no cats - but he put them back on for the trip to Alice.

the boxes are off because the spraypainter could not access the bumper bolts with them on..... or so i am told :-//

had the tubi's for a while.
there must be different grades of tubi's [???]
....these things are quiet - in fact, i would go so far as to say TOO quiet !

Oh ok, no biggy, but if they remove the lateral bolts that hold the whole inboard bracket on, rather than the actual bumper bolts themselves, the whole thing comes off in half the time.... bloody painters!!

Yeah, I heard that Tubi had revised their design... I guess you have the new type... good for you then I guess, but they're too quiet.

    Maybe you need.....

hmmmm, the old lateral bolt trick - thanks :)
it will be mentioned when they are telling me what a pain it was to remove, and how much time....

    these mufflers carry "550" stamping
they are a straight through offset design
    weren't the originals a chamber design ?

    hmmmm....X pipe :) :) :)
i just had one fitted to my XJR :D
any increase in resonance through the floor ?

Wow That 575 Looks amazing mate, it should look good with colour coded sills.

With that X-pipe, where abouts did you get that put in on the X5? My bro got 2 1/4 quarter inch, cat-back with straight through mufflers. It made a huge difference, you can really hear the V8 roaring. Can post a vid up if anyone is interested, but you can hear a crackle in it though, needs a X-pipe apparently.

    Cheers
    Shane
