    Here's the real 0461...

    1956 Ferrari 250 GT Boano
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    There was a single convertible built by Carrozzeria Boano on the 250 GT long wheelbase chassis and it wears chassis number 0461GT 0461GT. In total, Boano constructed 74 bodies for the 250 GT. 0461GT was sold to Bob Lee in 1956 straight from the New York Auto Show floor. It was purchased for $9,500 which was far below the vehicles value. The car still remains in Bob Lee's possession making it one of the oldest Ferrari's to retain its original owners possession.

    2004 German Grand Prix

    The German Grand Prix shares with Japan in the fact that there is an agreement to alternate the race between two circuits every year. The Race was held in Hockenheim in 2008 which means in 2009 it will be held at the Nurburgring. This year's race will be held on Sunday 12th July 2009. An agreement was reached in 2007 which would see alternate tracks being used. The German Grand Prix became particularly popular and important in the 90's with the arrival of home grown superstar Michael Schumacher on the Formula 1 scene.

    The Circuit Details
    In 1976, Niki Lauda suffered horrific burns at the Nurburgring which lead to its Formula 1 licence being revoked. With this in mind the Nurburgring underwent huge developments and won its licence back in 1984 when it staged the European Grand Prix. The circuit holds a distance of 5.148 km and total race distance is 308.863km spread out over 60 laps.

    The current lap record at the Nurburgring is held by Michael Schumacher who clocked 1.29.468 in 2004.

    Ferrari 410 Superamerica

    This 410 is commonly referred to as the 510 Superamerica, chassis 0473 SA having reputedly been fitted with a custom built Ferrari 6120cc engine. Ghia’s outrageous bodywork was considered by many to be wholly inappropriate for a Ferrari, but today, 0473 SA evokes wonderful memories of this dream car era. Designed by Savonuzzi, it was influenced by the Gilda concept and commissioned by Californian Bob Wilke who owned several bespoke Ferrari's. In total, 16 Series I Superamerica's were built, the chassis numbers of which are indexed below.

    The F-430 Biofuel, still with its V8 4,3 liters, can run on a mix of 85% ethanol and 15% unleaded fuel.

    It delivers 500hp, and the torque increases to .... >>>>> 484Nm <<<<< !

    Not sure though that it's better for the planet...
