    Having a re-trim don and when buying the hide I found out it is the same leather as used in a Rolls Royce.

    The similar colour on the RR is magnolia and I believe it has more yellow in it.

    Sounds like your upholstery guy is trying to get rid of some slow stock, or doesn't have access to the correct hides...?

    Are you getting a second opinion?

    I would have thought later than the '80s or even early '90s since I didn't think cuoio was available until the late '90s or early '00s(?).

    Great reference in any case, but it'd be nice to pin down its time frame.

    Mike, some of those colors where available early on. That is not my picture so I don't have all details. Taz may know better.

    Definitely agree that some of those colors have been around a long time (although I guess it's possible that the shades could have changed a little over time).
