So this is the day before the event!!! We went there to set up our booth and to see if anything exciting was on it's way So this is a little teaser about what will show up tomorrow They said that about 80-100 cars would arrive there (that's a lot for a danish event) Here's the first shots... Yes it does I have to admit that I for the first time fell in love with a Lambo But please don't tell anyone!!
CU Tomorrow after, hopefully, a great event I'm not sure how many photos i'll have to share... because I'll be there to take photos of the people who buys a drive on the track But I'll do my best to get some private shots too
Aha, good taste Tina Already a great assembly of rare cars on Friday! But......sorry to say so, the surrounding/location for such an event s**** a bit Enjoy, and we are waiting for many, many pics
Thanks Yep the location sucks... no beauty there!!!! But if this is the only way to show some beautifull Ferraris and Lambos.... fine for me CU all later... we're on our way now!!!
Hi guys, just back from todays event, and I think Tina wil have a few pics to share today when she get back from her parents house! The weather was perfect for this kind of event, and even better than yesterday.... clear blue sky and arround 20-22 degrees! One of the two Enzos in Denmark (The red one)showed up at the event today, and also a very beautyful 275 GTB along with arround 80-90 other Ferraris mainly from Denmark and Germany, but also a few Swedish cars I think! The blue metallic 430 Challenge, that I tried out at Ferrari Denmark a couple a weeks ago also showed up in her new livery.....it wore a very striking colour scheme as I hope you will see from Tina's pics later! The car is still metallic blue, BUT.............!!!!! I was selling co-driver tickets for the masses, and it was a huge success all throughout the day, both for the public and for the drivers! Fastest car (and best sound!!!)on the track today was surprisingly a blue 355 Challenge car! (The track allows for speeds up to 250-260Km/h on the main straight!!!) Perhaps Tina can tell you a little more when she get back! The soroundings sucks a little yes, but actually the track and display area is placed on the docks/harbour area and is located very near the center of the city, so we get a lot of attention and visitors, from the wonderful sounds produced on the track, which is very loud and obvious if you go shopping in the center of the city! I'll post more after tomorrows event! Best Carsten
GREAT EVENT.... I have alot of video, about 30 minutes, but sadly no place to upload it. I have some pictures too.. This was a very nice event, and it was nice to see you again Carsten.. Hope that it can be under other circumstances next time, when you arent busy selling rides
I'm so sorry, but I've promised my daughter to watch ICEAGE with her, ... so only two teasers right now... and the rest tomorrow evening or monday GREAT EVENT!!!!! great sound... nice view ... except for the harbour Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah, it was a great event! I'll throw some pics up later too! Carsten & Tina, Was it you that sold the tickets for the rides? Damn i should have said say hi to you then... BTW. what camera do you use? Great pictures! (Allthough they would be anyway, i'm sure!)
Yes it was us selling tickets You should have bought a ticket and say hello (allthough we wouldn't be able to give you any discount ) I use a Canon EOS350 D And thanks for the nice words about my pics! Not all were good, especially not the "high speed" ones from the track... but hey... still learning
The 430 Challenge chrashed today on the track.....someone convinced the owner to do some drives on the track, and on his third run he sadly lost it when going too hard on the accelerator out of a corner, with a chrashed front as the result.....he was devastated, not just because of the damage to the car, but mainly due to the fact that his mechanics has worked like mad the last couple of weeks to get the car ready for the Scandinavian Ferrari Challenge race next weekend, and now they have a lot of work to do on the car again! Hopefully they will have the car ready for the race next weekend!
Looks like a great event! And euh... I guess I have to admit too... wow that black Murcielago with open top looks... VERY impressive... Damn', really bad and sad news about the crash...
Okay here we go Just after the event was over , I was lucky enough to get two rides on the track One with the 360 modena with the MINOLTA commercial on it. He drove like crazy!!! And then with a nice German guy with a 355GTS, he gave me a double up with 7 laps We saw a lot of nice cars there... and later I will have some pictures of a Superamerica too (if the pics still exicsts on our friends laptop, where I placed them during the event) but... pics... here we go !!
