    Yeah, I probably wouldn't be getting a warning down there with that.

    I actually have a family Bay home in Lynn Haven, FL but I have never taken the 308 there in the 17 years I have owned it. Just too hot in the summer.

    That's absurd........every time you drive a Ferrari you are giving away free advertising.
    Well....kind of anyway. Of course I also doubt the plate surround was actually free either.

    Ouch, that's why I don't have the Los Gatos Ferrari frame on my car. I just don't want it nearly that bad. I bought my car out of Portland and it had a Ron Tonkin frame on it. I have it hanging on my garage wall. If someone with a LG Ferrari frame wants to swap let me know.

    i don't see the point, there's only one ferrari dealer in many many miles around, and you bought a ferrari- finally, an achievement for anyone who has reached that level, why hide where you bought it? who cares?

    There's a seller on eBay who only sells vintage dealer plate frames so that car owner can have the "genuine" dealer frame for their car's year. The frames range from about $40 up to $600!

    I owned Newport Autosport in the late 90's. I remember before I sold it, I order a whole bunch of Plates and inserts. I still use them till this day on ALL my cars. (starting to running out)

    In the past, I would take off the dealer plate frames. But for my second F-car, I am interested in seeing it as close to original delivery day as possible.

    But, I now also like to reminisce. I remember growing up in Houston and going to see the new F-cars in the showroom windows after work as a teenager, so seeing a FOH plate frame on my car would probably put a big smile on my face each day.

    Same thing for Ferrari of Denver since I spent over two decades there and did the same thing. It probably wouldn't matter if I was 20, but at 45, sometimes small things add to the experience...

    Thanks again to RMDC for the FONE plate surround. Helps tell the story of my car. I may have to swap it out every month with a FOH or FOD frame for the extra memories...

    The real prize for a 308 owner is the factory US frame. I have one but it is broken in one corner - although you wouldn't know it when it is mounted unless you are really looking . $5, couldn't pass on it

    Tough to find a real one.

    I gladly have a Ferrari Maserati Quebec dealer plate frame on my car. They gave it to me and I'm happy to "advertise" for them (Not that they need it...they have no competition and are protected by Ferrari as far as sales withing a large geographical area)

    But they do a great job when I get some things on my car serviced there, they always help out when we knock on the door for help with charity events, donations, etc...

    So to have the plate is a way for me to give back that respect.

    Believe me, friend Chris, I haven't trashed the frame. I still have some MD "Lusso" plates out in the garage. I just don't advertise for dealers.

    When buying new cars, I refuse delivery if the dealer has put any thing other than his license plate frame on it. I make this crystal clear when ordering, and waited another day to take delivery of the wife's V70 a few years ago for them to remove and buff out a badge.

    Don't want to name names and get anyone in trouble, but a certain salesman at Ferrari of Washington hooked me up with a bunch of their frames when they were packing up the old shop. It was fun to have on my old bright red hoopty Jeep Cherokee

    I bought an original 328 frame from FoA. Hopefully still with the car. If the car had come with an original dealer frame I might have kept that.

    The LFSC frame that came with mine was warped so the factory frame was an upgrade, IMO. We'll see what the Cavallino judges say next month.

    Left the metal frame from Ferrari of Atlanta on mine. It's black w/ yellow writing looks nice with my yellow/black 360. If it leads someone to them to purchase, doesn't me at all.
