    Are there any Ferrari dealerships in New Orleans? I'm leaving for a cruise Jan 2nd, but we'll be in NO a day early and I was wondering if there are an Ferrari sights to see?

    The owner of Popeye's Chicken has a showroom with all of his toys at the corner of I-10 and Causeway Blvd. You might want to check it out.

    Fantasy Motors doesn't run a showroom to go kick the tires so to speak.

    Popyee has total garbage in his showroom.

    Check out Jim Lindsey's. On any given day there are 7-12 wonderful Ferraris being serviced. Some of the best Ferrari's in the world have spent time in his shop.

    John, a Ferrari dealership in NO would do very well, especially if you could build it in or near the quarter . The sale of t-shirts and other Ferrari labeled crap alone to tourist would turn quite a profit. And the tax deductions for your car habit would be a benefit as well. That may be a good investment for a an Italian car guy such as yourself?

    where is Lindsey's? I'll agree that Al Copeland has poor taste, most of his stuff is big trucks, Choppers etc. I've seen a 355 parked in front of his house before but usually just his H2.

    His wife's H2. She once pulled into the garage full speed (despite many warnings) and destroyed the roof as well as some lights in the garage ceiling.

    A guy I know used to work for Copeland managing some of his property and equipment (cars and boats included) and mentioned this to me right when they got it, when the H2 was new. I thought it was hilarious.

    He also mentioned how she used to wreak havoc on the F360 she drives, routinely screwing up the transmission, etc. I recall seeing it at Lindsey's once or twice. Nastiest two-tone interior ever.

    That photo does it too much justice. The steering wheel and dash are almost bearable, but the piping in the seats is soooo tacky!!!

    It's good to hear from you, hopefully I'll see you some sunday afternoon when I'm back in New Orleans... :)
