"Pilota Ferrari" is conducted at Maranello - talk to your dealer.

All of those who attended the Ferrari courses told me they are VERY good (and very expensive ).

I'm hoping to do a Ferrari course next year.

BUT IMO, you should first do some cheaper driving courses to have a solid foundation. I did two courses with the BMW M-driving school and they were great. Once you have a solid foundation, then go do the Ferrari courses if you want.

I don't know how your driving level is, but if you don't know how to correctly control power slides or approach a track, IMVHO there is no advantage in learning to do so in a Ferrari VS a BMW M3. You're only going to spend 4 times as much.

Once you're comfortable with the basics of performance driving then, IMO, Ferrari courses could start making sense as they both allow you to expand your skills AND learn how Ferraris in particular handle and how they should be driven on the limit.

As one moves up the courses in the Ferrari curriculum, the focus will be more and more on trackwork and timing. If you are interested in a basis driving course any of the BMW , Porsche, Audi will do at a fraction of the price. The Ferrari courses start from about Euro4k up to euro13k.

I am also thinking about doing a Porsche Snow/Ice driving course.

Snow driving is fun... I believe AMG has a 3 day snow driving course which is reputed to be the best. I did a Maserati snow course back in 2007 held at St Moritz... it was fun drifting and sliding all over the place.... and it was free.

I did the Basic Pilota one in Japan in September. I was planning on doing a write-up but never got round to finishing it and am still waiting for pictures from Ferrari :(

It was good fun and you get to meet a lot of nice people.

Planning to go through them all over the next several years.
