Ferrari Driving Experience to use the 430 Scud for 2008

...and 599's for the advanced course of the Ferrari Driving Experience....It was amazing with the "regular" 430..I can just imagine what this will be like...

Anyone going this year?

Special Notice - Pre-Registration
This is to advise you that pre-registration for the 2008 Ferrari Driving Experience at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant will begin on January 16, 2008. You will have a special one-week window to identify, select and register for available 2008 program dates prior to general registration, which begins on January 23, 2008. Please be aware that, for the past two seasons, the Ferrari Driving Experience has sold out all program seats.

Ferrari North America will again offer Basic and Advanced level programming. Each program will retain the same format and curriculum. Among the enhancements for 2008 are two significant additions to the FDE fleet. For the first time in North America, students of the Basic and Advanced levels will drive the 599 GTB Fiorano and 430 Scuderia on track and during car control exercises. These cars join the F430 to round out our fleet.

The 2008 provisional schedule will be posted in early January.

I registered for the Advanced level on July 16-17 just before the Ferrari Festival. Lineup for the advanced course adds the 430 Challenge in addition to the 430, scud, and 599. Can't wait!

 

Hmmm, sounds interesting........got to look into it.

I did it already, last week ( 3-4.4). What an experience!

There was 24 of us, and four 599's + six 430's. Last day there were also two black Scud's, and we were the first clients to go to Fiorano track with them.

We only got to be co-pilots with Scud, but what an experience with pro driver!!The car is animal!!

I loved every second of it, all the hospitality provided from ferrari, all hotels, dinners and of course the track!!

I definately will take advanced course next year, where we can drive the Scud with 430's.

It was also nice to meet new Ferrari friends all over the world!!

Nice experience was to drive also 599 to find out how heavy it is to track compared to 430. Funny, but there were too many 599's, almost everybody were trying to get inside 430 rather than 599. Only the "older" drivers liked driving 599 better than 430.... ( I am + 40 )

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- it gives so much confident on driving Your own 430!! What a beautiful car to track it is!!

 

When they say that event memorabilia is included what exactly is included? What trinkets/toys do you get in your "goodie bag" at this type of an event?

Anyone in the know want to share this information with the masses?

 

I was surprised actually at the goodie bag two years ago when I did the Ferrari Experience. That was before they started giving out videos.

 

That's too bad that you didn't get to drive the Scuderia's. How did they split up the cars amongst the different exercises?
