is ther a such driving school around here or any where in USA? One of my friend was telling me about ferrari chellange driving school. I was wonder if anyone can get me some info on it, or site. thanks
I know there is but I do not have any info. I saw it in a car magazine last month I believe. They use F355's.
there was this ad i saw for a school that called itself "ferrari driving school", but they only train you with civics
easiest way how to learn how to drive a ferrari is to go to a track event and lap with an instructor a few times, then have an instructor with you while your driving. You'll learn on Your car
Or you can skip the middle man and you can go with an instructor on the Turnpike. Bring a helmet and a change of pants. You'll know why when it happens.
Ok, so if you search for Ferrari Driving School and New York in Google, this comes up: Ferrari Driving School Inc. 32 Steinway Street Astoria, NY 11103-3611 718-278-6679 WTF?
Its probably some guy named Arnold Ferrari who gives driving lessons to old ladies in a 82 dodge omni....
Call. His current fleet contains AMC Pacers, Ford Pintos, Talons, a Gremlin, and a continental to train prospective Livery drivers.
Ferrari Driving school, I'm not sure, but I know of this blue vette that takes student drivers, only qualification is you have to refer young women to the school to join....
This is interesting that this comes up. The school in the mid-seventies thru the early eighties was located on the corner of Northern Blvd and Main Street in Flushing, NY. It was next door to a magazine store that I always would buy my Road & Track magazines from while I waited for the bus to take me to high school. One of the first R&Ts I ever bought was the issue where Bondurant did a preview test of the glass-bodied 308GTB-and I was hooked big time... Interestingly enough, R&T used to have on the last page of the mag a car related picture or item. In one issue, late 70s I believe, they had a picture of a Daytona outside the very same Ferrari Driving School.....
I wonder what would happen if I pointed someone from the marketing group at Ferrari to the Ferrari Driving School?
