I am considering to purchase a 355 engine that is out of the car. I have the engine/block # but do not know the cars VIN #. Is there a way to match the engine to the body? Are there records to answer this question? Thanks

Yes, there is a way...for a cost-and ONLY through Ferrar of Norht America...
Vehicle "master Inquiry" is the term, as I recall, been 15 years, but it used to be possible on 355(129 model cars)...why do you care?, its a boneyard/wreck/spare for your car-no?
as long as it has all of the right stuff for youyr car, why do you care-unless theft is a concern, in which case you should not even bother, right?
