Ugh... that's gotta suck. I hope no one was hurt. (photo from twitter) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks to have tan interior. Not too many RC/tan cars around. Also a bit ironic is the building in the background. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yikes - glad everyone seems to be ok. RC/Tan is a rare one, shouldn't be too hard to pinpoint which Enzo this is.
For mortals, its a 50,000.00 damage, for others , pocket change. what will it do to the diminished value , thats the real question..this accident will follow this car for a century!
Greenwich is 1 exit away from that scene [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rI5BbEW0__I]Tommy Hilfiger driving his Ferrari Enzo - YouTube[/ame]
It s not a drame, Ferrari it s a car, and only a car. 250 Gto have ben accidented many times...does they lost value? Not really. People give importance for what they want. It s only a question of ego/money/market. Many cars are stopped in a garage with air conditioned, low mileage, etc.. Where is the real pasioned man?
You are comparing the early cars and the 250 to the Enzo..and lost values or not.. You are still in the 20 th century Jack. side by side with another enzo, that car will always be worth 3/4 of the uncrashed car. Period!
If it's NJ plates, it could be Tax Dr's ex-Enzo. He sold it to a guy near Philly who restored it to stock. There's 3 other red Enzos I'm aware of in NJ. EDIT: This is Fux's car, the collector in Red Bank, NJ. He wasn't driving it. From someone on Facebook: http://m.ctpost.com/policereports/article/Man-crashes-Ferrari-on-I-95-in-Stamford-5573009.php
Wow, it was Fux's car...not him driving though. Someone posted this on FB: Man crashes Ferrari on I-95 in Stamford - Connecticut Post
Sorry that's totally untrue. No one gives a sh*t that some of the 250 gto's we're crashed and rebuilt. The number of years until an accident in a cars history affects it's value is most certainly less then 100 years.
Huh, Miller Motorcars seems to be selling some cars from the Fux collection, including his FXX and 599 GTO. Hopefully the Enzo wasn't being prepped for sale.
