    I shot a video with one of the F-chatters, Tax Dr. Original thread is in the Tri-State region section, but thought it would be appropriate to post here as well. Tax Dr. is one of the coolest Ferrari owners out there as many on here from the NY/NJ area can already attest. Hope to post more videos soon.

    I don't really post on here much as I tend to prefer to lurk but I have to say what a fantastic video. The only criticisms I have is that there was a bit too much wnd noise and the interier scenes there wasn't much engine noise given that the car had straight pipes. I also checked out the 599 video as well. It was facisnating to hear Tax Dr experince of the car I just whished you didn't edit some parts of the interview out. Well done I enjoyed both videos immensely.

    Thanks 430GB, and Latsyrc for the compliments. It was a helluva ride for sure! Absolute monstrous pull and we barely tapped its potential. There's just an endless reservoir of power, but more than that every sensation in that car is so visceral.

    OBI, thank you for the kind words. There will be plenty more interview material. Wind noise is hard to control at speeds that i will leave unmentioned, but we're figuring out new tricks as we go along for filming this stuff.

    DHILLON, thank you, and I don't think you will be disappointed. Tax Dr. was generous enough to give us a lot of time filming with the 16M.

    Hi,

    I drove a Rosso Dino 599 GTB yesterday and must admit it was an exhilirating experience, it was the gear changes that really blew me away, first time I had used a paddle shift and I floored it several times down the empty country roads, layers and layers of bright cream leather, fantastic.

    Compared to my Diablo, its a technoligical wonder but I know which i would still rather have as my passion lies with the Diablo. The 599 though, what a fantastic machine, I can only imagine what the Enzo is like to drive.

    Thanks for sharing the cars, they both look great. Enjoy. :)

    just one question: where did the strait pipes come from? tubi style or something like this? the related 750 hp have been tested too?

    Cridom60, you'd be better to ask Tax Dr. or Ferrari of Long Island, as they know the exact specs on the vehicle and how extensive the modifications were to reach those numbers. Definitely not tubi.

    i glad to hear him say his 599 is his favorite. makes me more patient about picking up an Enzo.

    The 599 and Enzo are like night and day. The small tradeoff in performance is offset by all of the amenities that make the 599 a comfortable day to day tourer. It still screams, but its just so easy to drive and maintain relative to the Enzo. Tax Dr. told me that the car most liable to get him in trouble is the 599. It just begs to go fast. The Enzo on the other hand is such a handful at any speed on normal roads, that he says he drives it the slowest of the three. You really need dedicated track time to fully appreciate such a purposeful car.
